LIGHT BULB CITY was originally known as the Goodkind Group, a division of Goodkind Pen Company Inc., founded in 1993 in Scarborough, Maine. The LIGHT BULB CITY division was responsible for creative direction for all things from product and package development to office systems and administration for the pen company. Soon after, the pen company was solicited by other companies for consulting services and word spread very quickly about the unique abilities of the pen company's cutting-edge creative division.  LIGHT BULB CITY eventually grew larger than the pen company and both divisions began to operate independently but collectively under the Goodkind Corporation banner. In 2004, Goodkind Corporation opened a new facility in Maple Lake, Minnesota and the LIGHT BULB CITY division was relocated there. In 2008, Goodkind Corporation sold the Goodkind Pen Company division and LIGHT BULB CITY became its premier division.  As is written in latin on our City Seal "ab ovo usque ad mala," which means "from egg to apple," (the Roman version of the Italian phrase, "from soup to nuts") LIGHT BULB CITY today works on phase one product development projects for numerous companies across the United States from food products to promotional products and everything in between.
